Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to deliver a special address at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, under the theme “Prabowonomics.”

Based on information published on the official WEF website, President Prabowo is set to speak at 2 p.m. local time (CET), or 8 p.m. Jakarta time.

According to the agenda released for the same day, President Prabowo’s session will be preceded by addresses from several heads of state and government, including Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Syrian President Ahmad Al Sharaa is scheduled to deliver his address following President Prabowo’s session.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said President Prabowo will outline a number of economic concepts that he has formulated and implemented over time.

“Essentially, the president will explain the economic concepts he has developed and applied, both prior to assuming the presidency and since taking office,” Wijaya said in London, the United Kingdom, on Wednesday, January 21.

President Prabowo is also expected to highlight key achievements of the Indonesian government during its first year in office.

Wijaya noted that the economic concepts to be presented by the head of state at the forum are collectively referred to as “Prabowonomics.”

The WEF 2026 agenda features speeches by a number of world leaders, including presidents and prime ministers from various countries.

On Tuesday, January 20, the global leadership session featured French President Emmanuel Macron, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The agenda continued on Wednesday, January 21, with addresses from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, United States President Donald Trump, and Argentine President Javier Milei.

Indonesia’s president has not attended the WEF over the past decade. The first Indonesian president to participate in the forum was Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who delivered a speech on green or environmentally friendly economics in 2011.

The World Economic Forum is an annual global meeting held since 1971 in Davos, Switzerland. It brings together world leaders, economists, academics, experts, and practitioners to discuss current and future global economic challenges.
