Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday voiced support for the Indonesia Pavilion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, calling it a key platform to promote the country’s investment potential and expand collaboration with global partners.

According to a post on the official Instagram account @presidenrepublikindonesia on Friday, Prabowo visited the Indonesia Pavilion after delivering his address at the WEF Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, Jan. 22.

During the visit, Prabowo greeted Indonesian delegates and held discussions with officials and representatives attending the forum.

He also exchanged views on the keynote speech he had just delivered before WEF participants from various countries.

“At the same time, he expressed support for the Indonesia Pavilion in promoting Indonesia’s investment potential and collaboration opportunities to the global community,” the Instagram account said.

Prabowo was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Investment and Downstreaming Minister and Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, and Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid.

The Indonesia Pavilion serves as the country’s official platform at the WEF Annual Meeting 2026, functioning as a hub for investment promotion, policy dialogue and strategic collaboration with the international community.

The pavilion in Davos carries the theme “Indonesia Endless Horizons.”

Organizers said the pavilion highlights Indonesia’s economic priorities, including industrial downstreaming, digital transformation, energy transition and sustainable development, while offering global investors direct access to policymakers and business leaders.

The pavilion also hosts high-level dialogues, thematic discussions, business-matching sessions and bilateral meetings between Indonesian delegations and global investors to explore concrete cooperation opportunities.

In an official statement, the Presidential Secretariat said Prabowo’s visit underscored Indonesia’s active, inclusive and results-oriented economic diplomacy on the global stage, particularly in leveraging multilateral forums to advance national development goals.

The Indonesia Pavilion is a diplomatic project designed to showcase Indonesia’s identity, economic potential and cultural heritage, while strengthening the country’s profile as an emerging investment destination in Southeast Asia.
