“In this year’s CKG program, immunization history is added to identify children whose vaccinations may be incomplete,” Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Lucia Rizka Andalusia said at Cilandak Community Health Center (puskesmas) here on Tuesday.
The CKG program targets all Indonesians, from toddlers and schoolchildren to the working-age population and the elderly.
Andalusia said the government continues to improve service quality in CKG. Additional examinations now include scabies, leprosy, yaws, and tuberculosis (TB) screening.
“One of the President’s quick wins is TB elimination. The CKG program helps identify TB cases early so they can be addressed promptly,” she said.
The government also aims to expand CKG coverage to 46 percent of the population, or around 130 million people, in 2026.
“For 2026, the target is 130-136 million people. That’s double last year’s coverage, and we hope it will be achieved,” she added.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno urged the public to take advantage of the program to monitor their health. He also visited the CKG program at Puskesmas Cilandak on Tuesday, marking one year since the program’s launch.
During 2025, over 70 million Indonesians benefited from the free health services. “More than 70 million Indonesians have enjoyed these free health services,” Pratikno said.
The Prabowo-Gibran’s flagship program has been implemented in 38 provinces, supported by 514 districts and cities, and involves 10,588 health facilities across Indonesia.
Going forward, the Ministry of Health expects that the CKG program will be further strengthened as a foundation for promotive and preventive health services, aiming to create a healthier and more productive society.
