Since its establishment in February 2025, the task force has reclaimed assets worth Rp371.1 trillion (about US$21.7 billion), according to government data.
“I want to express my gratitude to the members of this task force. I have the highest appreciation for your sacrifice,” Prabowo said in Jakarta.
He delivered the remarks at the Attorney General’s Office complex during an event marking the sixth phase of administrative fine transfers, asset recovery and forest area reclamation.

In his speech, Prabowo said the task force’s mission is particularly challenging given Indonesia’s vast geography and the complexity of enforcement issues in forest regions.
He noted that personnel have faced threats and intimidation while carrying out their duties in the field.
The president said protecting the nation’s wealth is a noble responsibility and a key part of public service.
However, he expressed concern that some officials misuse their authority for personal or group interests, undermining public trust.
“I urge all of us entrusted by the people to carry out our duties with integrity,” he said.
Prabowo also stressed the government’s full support for the task force, warning that any attempts to obstruct its work would be treated as acts against the state.
He said authorities would ensure protection for personnel involved in enforcement operations.
The president added that asset recovery efforts are essential to strengthening state finances and ensuring resources are used for public welfare.
He said reclaimed assets, including forest areas, could be redirected toward development programs and environmental protection.
Prabowo concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to defending state assets and continuing enforcement actions.
“The state will not retreat in safeguarding the nation’s wealth,” he said, pledging that all recovered resources would be managed responsibly for the benefit of the people.
