"I am saddened that people I appointed, people I guided, people I honored by giving important positions, once they assume office, engage in misconduct and steal the public's money," Subianto said while delivering remarks during the Marsinah Museum inauguration in Nganjuk, East Java, on Saturday, as monitored online from Jakarta.
Prabowo stated he frequently receives reports from the head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) regarding inspections conducted on individuals close to the president.

Responding to the matter, Subianto instructed BPKP officials to continue the inspections of those individuals.
"There is no exception, none at all, whether they are my people or not, whether they are close to me, if does not matter. If there are indications, go ahead to the investigation," he added.
Subianto also reminded that every individual entrusted with a position in the government must exercise greater caution and maintain integrity. He specifically emphasized that once appointed as an official, one must be accountable for the position to the state and the people.
Strictly, he would not tolerate misconduct even among members of the Gerindra Party, which he leads, pointing to several party officials who have already been processed and detained.
Therefore, the Head of State called on all government apparatuses to reform and cleanse themselves of elements of corruption. President Prabowo Subianto also specifically reminded each head of government institution to ensure that no personnel engage in activities that harm the public.
