One of the achievements, he mentioned, is realising self-sufficiency programme on several food commodities.
"We are now achieving self-sufficient in rice, corn, eggs, and chicken. In the next four to five years, we can achieve self-sufficiency in meat as well. Our food supply is relatively secure," Prabowo said a statement on Saturday.
The president considered the achievement is important amidst the current global situation which were full of conflict and geopolitical uncertainty. He conveyed that Indonesia must remain vigilant and strengthen national resilience in various sectors.
"In the world today, there are many conflicts and wars. We are grateful that we are still not involved in the conflicts, but we are vigilant. We must have strength, so we are building our defense forces to protect our wealth," Prabowo remarked.

Besides the food security and defense, he also emphasised the importance of managing national wealth independently, in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, stating that Indonesia's natural resources must be utilised to the maximum benefit for the people.
Prabowo then recalled his remarks at the House of Representatives (DPR RI) plenary session on Wednesday (May 20), saying that despite Indonesia’s vast wealth, the country still faces resource leakages that must be addressed immediately.
"Indonesia is truly very wealthy, but too much of our wealth is leaking, and we must stop this leakage," he said.
According to him, those efforts are aimed at ensuring the nation’s wealth benefits all Indonesians, not only particular parties.
Food sovereignty, independent management of natural resources, and safeguarding state wealth are the main foundations for a stronger, sovereign, and prosperous Indonesia, he stressed.
