Sidoarjo, East Java (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during a video teleconference in Sidoarjo, Friday, held a dialog with farmers and fishermen in Makassar (South Sulawesi), Samarinda (East Kalimantan) and Medan (North Sumatra).

The dialog took place following a launching of the National Movement of Climate Change Anomaly Mitigation.

After the dialog, President Yudhoyono and his entourage had a close look at green house.

The green house concept is developed to deal with possible food crisis due to climate anomalies.

On the occasion, the head of state asked the people to increase their fruit and vegetable consumption.

President Yudhoyono is making a two-day working visit in East Java Province, January 13-14, 2011.

The president`s entourage includes First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, several cabinet ministers and presidential spokesman Julian A Pasha.

In Surabaya, Yudhoyono officially opened the 14th National Congress of Ansor, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU)`s youth wing, on Thursday.

Following the dialog with the farmers and fishermen, the president and his entourage will return to Jakarta on Friday afternoon.
