The meeting was also attended by Vice President Boediono and several ministers such as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto and Justice and Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar.
National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo and Attorney General Basrief Arief were also present at the meeting.
After the meeting, the head of state was expected to receive Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, Youth and Sport Affairs Andi Malarangeng, and Hassan Wirajuda, a member of the presidential advisory council and chairman of the task force for the evacuation of Indonesian citizens in Egypt.
Later, the president was scheduled to lead another limited cabinet meeting on businesses.
