Themed "Bali Art Ritual Performance" at Asean Art Museum in San Fransisco, the exhibition will be officially opened on February 25, 2011.
A Bali art team of 12 members, led by Bali Museums Association (IMUSBA) chairman I Nyoman Gunarsa, will soon leave for the United States to attend the exhibition.
"The collections of art works created by Bali artists in the past in the museums in the United States, the Netherlands, and other countries will be displayed in the international scale exhibition," team member Pande Wayan Suteja Neka said here on Monday.
He said the members of the team consisted of museum and artist managers who were trusted to represent Bali Governor Made Manguku Pastika in the exhibition.
According to Suteja Neka, the members of Bali art team were among others Arma Ubud Museum owner Anak Agung Gede Rai and IMUSBA chairman I Nyoman Gunarsa who is concurrently the owner of Semarapura Classical Art Museum in Klungkung district.
"The exhibition will have great significance for the promotion of Bali tourism in the future," Suteja Neka said.
