During the two-day trip, President Yudhoyono will pay a courtesy call to Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and the Queen of Brunei, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha.
In addition, the Indonesian head of state is also scheduled to hold a dialog in the framework of the two countries` cooperation development, especially in the field of agriculture and fisheries.
After that the president will conduct the planting of trees in the Tasik Lama Recreational Park, also known as Taman Peranginan Tasik Lama in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Then the head of state will meet representatives of the Indonesian community in Bandar Seri Begawan and attend the dedication of a new Indonesian embassy building at Wisma Duta Indonesia.
Returning from Brunei, the president and his entourage will visit Riau Islands Province (Kepri) until Sunday, Febr 27, 2011.
President Yudhoyono`s entourage in the visit included First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Agriculture Minister Suswono, Culture and Tourism Minister Jero Wacik, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Zahendy Saleh, National Education Minister Muhammad Nuh and other state officials.
The President was seen off at Halim Perdanakusuma airport by among others Vice President Boediono, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono, Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.(*)
