According to the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo on Saturday, the teams had distributed logistics such as mineral water, tissue paper, antiseptics, baby food, and medicines.
The damaged infrastructure in Sendai made it difficult for the logistic supplies to reach the city.
There are 89 Indonesians (68 adults and 21 children) at the refuge camps in the Sanjo Junior High School, in Sendai.
According to the Indonesian Embassy, the Indonesians taking refuge in Sanjo were in good condition.
The logistics brought by the Indonesian teams are enough for two days only, while the region also lacked clean water.
There is only electricity in some parts of Sendai, but not in the Sanjo refuge camp.(*)
