Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - Some 30 Australian students will attend academic activities at the Denpasar-based Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) under a cooperation between the two countries in the field of arts, ISI Rector Prof Wayan Rai S said.

"The Australian students will be here for about three weeks in a student exchange program in June this year. They will be assisted by a number of lecturers," Wayan Rai said here on Sunday.

He said that the student exchange program will be the realization of cooperation between ISI and the University of Western Australia (UWA) signed on February 11, 2011.

Prof Rai and ISI dean, Ni Made Rinu, signed the student exchange program agreement between the Australian university in an effort to advance arts eduction of the two countries.

He said that the cooperation was also part of the efforts to expand network in the world to help promote the existence of ISI.

Rai said that the cooperation between ISI and UWA was proof that the international society loved the ISI.

Ahead, it is also expected that ISI students and lecturers would also attend the same program at the UWA, he added.(*)
