Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Police have issued a sketch of the face of the person who delivered a parcel bomb at the Radio News Agency 68H in Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, last Tuesday.

"The sketch was drawn based on information from witnesses and with the help of a sketch expert," the National Police Headquarters public information officer, Senior Commissioner Boy Rafli Anwar said here on Friday.

The courier was a brown-skinned man with a beard and sleepy eyes, he said.

"He was wearing a hat and a black jacket and about 165 centimeters tall and 30 years old," he said.

Police had called for the public`s participation in the efforts to uncover the terrorist act, he said.

"Terror is not our culture because it damages the pillars of our life as a community," he said.

Boy said he called on people who found suspicious things around them to immediately report to the police.

The three people who were wounded when the bomb in Utan Kayu exploded are now still being treated at a hospital.

The book bomb package addressed to Ulil Abshar Abdala, an Islam Liberal Network figure, exploded at around 4.05 on Tuesday when a police officer tried to defuse it.

The police meanwhile were still improving the sketch of the courier of another bomb package, national police`s head of public relations Senior Commissioner Baharudin Jafar said.

He said the police had so far already questioned 22 witnesses who were at the locations of the incidents.

Unknown people had sent three book bomb packages to three different persons on Tuesday. One was addressed to Ulil, the other to the chief of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency, Gories Mere and another one to Yapto Soeryosumarno, the chief of the Pancasila Youth organization.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a book bomb was also discovered at the office of musician Ahmad Dhani in South Jakarta.

The face of the courier of the bomb at BNN was still being studied based upon a CCTV recording, he said.(*)
