The President made the remarks here Monday morning during a special ceremony in the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran on the occasion of the National Army Day.
He said the Iranian army was undefeatable because it followed the guidelines of Velayat-e Faqih.
A number of ranking army and government officials are also present in the ceremony which includes parade by different sections of the Iranian army.
April 18 was designated as the National Army Day by the late Imam Khomeini to honor the bravery and achievements of the Iranian military sections.
