Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The police`s anti-terror unit Densus 88 has arrested another terror suspect in Cirebon, West Java.

Officers of the unit took in Ishak Andriana alias Abu Sifa at 2pm on Friday in Karang Kencana, Pagongan Timur, Panjunan village, Lemah Wungkuk, Cirebon, the head of the National Police`s public information service, Senior Commissioner Boy Rafli Amar, said here on Saturday.

Abu Sifa, along with another suspect, Musala, had hidden or protected Endut and Irwan, other wanted terrorist suspects who could assemble bombs.

"Densus is still conducting searches in several locations linked to Abu Sifa and Musala," Boy said.

Musala was arrested on Monday in Slawi, Central Java, while he was selling goods at a night market.

"He was arrested because he allegedly possessed explosive materials and was probably linked with Muchamad Syarif who carried out a suicide bomb attack on the Cirebon police headquarters recently," he said.

"Police are still chasing several other people in Central Java allegedly involved in the bombing in Cirebon," he said.

Muchamad Syarif blew himself up during Friday prayer at a mosque in the Cirebon city police compound on April 15, killing himself and hurting others including several police officers.

In connection with the incident police have also arrested Basuki, Syarif`s younger brother, for involvement in the case.(*)
