Cisarua, Bogor (ANTARA News) - Taman Safari Indonesia, the Conservation organization (outside the habitat) in Cisarua, Bogor district will hold the 21st International Wildlife Photo Contest in 2011 for the public.

"The competition will be held to commemorate the World Environment Day on June 5, the "Puspa" Love Day and National Wildlife on November 5, 2011," said Yulius H Suprihardo, the Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) here on Sunday.

The photo competition will last from June through October this year, he said, adding that the organizing committee provides the total prize worth hundreds of millions of rupiah including trophies, cash, DSLR camera from the sponsor and the Garuda plane tickets.

On the requirement to join the animal photo contest, Julius said the participants are only required to submit their photos measuring 10 R (size 20 x 25 cm) in maximum to the Taman Safari Indonesia, Jalan Puncak Raya no.601 Cisarua, Bogor district 16750, or to PT Datascrip, the Niaga Selatan area, Block B-15, Bandar Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The photos should be completed with names, address, photo title, telephone number or mobile phone of the participants in the back of the photos, and written on paper.

The photo taking areas and objects are free to chose, so the photo taking can take place in Taman Safari Indonesia, zoos, national parks, and even at home, he said.

Meanwhile, one of the TSI leaders Frans Manansang said, the judging in a bid to get the winners will be opened to the public in October 2011 in Taman Safari Indonesia. (A035/B003).
