Bandung, West Java (ANTARA News) - Two skydivers from the Jakarta chapter of the Federation of Indonesia Aerosports (FASI) died when conducting an exercise here on Monday.

Yonas Rizal Krisna and Yudho Baskoro were killed after falling from an altitude of around 7,700 feet while conducting solo jumps at around 9.05 over the Sulaeman Margahayu airport area in Bandung.

"The two are senior skydivers with long experience," information chief officer of the Air Force`s Special Force, Major Rifaid Bima said to newsmen.

He said the cause of the incident had not yet been established so far as an investigation was still ongoing. The two were found dead at the spots on which they had fallen.

Rifaid said the two were athletes of FASI Jakarta and used to train there. When the incident occurred the two were conducting a refreshing exercise.
