Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A number of directors of state-owned companies on Wednesday signed an anti-bribery pact as part of their commitment to creating anti-bribery, clean, transparent and professional work culture.

They signed the pact in the presence of chief of the Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (SPRM) Datok Sri Abu Kassim and Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) founder Ari Ginanjar at Tower 165 here.

Among the state-owned companies signing the pact were workers` insurance company PT Jamsostek, state insurance company PT Asabri, service insurance firm Asuransi Jasa Indonesia, export-import insurance company Asuransi Ekspor Impor Indonesia, state asset management company Perusahaan Pengelolaan Aset, and insurance company Asuransi Jiwa Seraya.

The others were insurance company PT Taspen, Pan Multi Finance, health insurance company Askes, insurance firm Jasa Raharja, state pawnshop Perum Pegadaian, PT Surveyor Indonesia, Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BTN, Bank BNI, Danareksa, Perum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia, Sucofindo and PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Bali.

State Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar and Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chairman Busyro Muqoddas who had originally been scheduled to attend the signing ceremony did not show up.

In the anti-bribery pact, the directors of state firms vowed to shun bribery practices in carrying out the companies` businesses.
