Mamuju, W Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The West Sulawesi provincial administration will build a cacao fertilizer processing plant in 2012.

West Sulawesi Governor Anwar Adnan Saleh said here Monday that the West Sulawesi provincial administration will build a fertilizer processing plant in 2012 to meet the needs of West Sulawesi cacao growers for fertilizers.

He said the building of the cacao fertilizer plant in West Sulawesi has already received the approval of Vice President Boediono, and will get a budget allocation under the 2012 State Budget.

The governor did not mention the budget of the cacao fertilizer plant except that the building of the cocoa factory will cost billions of rupiah as it will become the biggest cacao fertilizer plant in Sulawesi.

"The products of the plant will be supplied to the cacao growers outside West Sulawesi like Central Sulawesi," he said.

He said the Central Sulawesi administration is ready to supply cacao fertilizers from West Sulawesi after the cacao fertilizer plant in West Sulawesi had been built by the government. (*)
