Islamabad (ANTARA News/Xinhua-OANA) - One man on the ground was killed as a jet fighter crashed Monday in central Pakistan, local media reported.

The accident took place in Hassan Wala town of Bhakkar district in Punjab province when an F-7 plane of Pakistan Air Force crashed on its training flight.

Some reports said that there were two pilots on the plane and both of them managed to eject before the plane crashed.

A female pilot survived the plane crash, but she got injured, while the rescue team is still searching for the missing male pilot.

But a local TV channel quoted the spokesman of Pakistan Air Force as saying that there is only one female pilot on the plane and she had survived the crash by parachute.
