Depok, West Java (ANTARA News) - Graft suspect Muhammad Nazaruddin continued to fulfill his religious duty of fasting while staying in his cell at the Mobile Brigade detention center in Depok, West Java, on Monday.

"His early morning meal was chicken curry and soy bean cakes. He finished it all," Brimob Headquarters spokesman Adjunct Senior Commissioner Budiman said here on Monday.

Budiman said the menu served to Nazaruddin was the same as that for other detainees.

He said Nazaruddin had undergone health checks and the results were good.

"Nazaruddin is fine," he said.

Budiman said no interrogation was scheduled for Nazaruddin by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Monday.

He said Nazaruddin may be visited only on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm and on Fridays from 2pm to 5pm.

Budiman said two KPK officials were involved in Nazaruddin`s guarding at Mako Brimob detention center. "Perhaps tomorrow KPK will conduct an interrogation," he said.

Nazaruddin arrived under tight security in Jakarta on Saturday from Bogota, Colombia where he was caught after fleeing from the country and being named suspect in a corruption relating to the SEA Games athlete village project.

He left for Singapore a day before the KPK requested a travel ban for him from the ministry of justice and from there he had traveled to Cambodia and Vietnam before leaving for Cartagena, Colombia where he was finally caught by the Interpol.

Nazaruddin, the former treasurer of the Democrat Party has drawn public attention after he accused from his hiding places some party elite members of involvement in his case.
