Iran`s goals were made by Javad Nekonam at the 53rd minute and Andranik at the 87th minute, according to the FIFA official website.
After the game started, Iran immediately pressured Indonesia and several times it created opportunities to score.
Indonesia however could still withstand the continuous attacks from Iran. The game ended to a 0-0 draw in the first round.
Iran begand the second round with attacks from sideways causing problems to the Indonesian team.
Continuous assaults finally led to a 1-0 lead for Iran through Javad Nekonam.
After the goal Indonesia tried to attack through Christian Gonzales but his attack had always failed in the hands of Iranian defense.
Indonesian coach Wim Rijsbergen then withdrew M Ilham and fielded Irfan Bachdim. The atatcks increased but they could be stopped by Iran that had also fielded a new player.
Later on the 74th minute Iran was able to score another goal to lead 2-0 through Javad Nekonam in the 74th minute.
Iranian attacks did not subside. In the 87th minute replacement player Andranik Timotian Smarani scored another goal to make his team leading 3-0.
Indonesian Bambang Pamungkas and his fellows continued to fight but could not change the score until the end of the game.
Indonesia is scheduled to meet Bahrain at Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Tuesday, September 9.
Bahrain and Qatar meanwhile played to a 0-0 draw at Bahrain`s Manama National Stadium on Friday evening local time or early on Saturday Western Indonesia Time.
Based on the results Iran is ranked first in Group E with three points followed by Bahrain and Qatar with one point and Indonesia with no point. (*)
