"At present, the presidential staff members are now in Cikeas to have a direct briefing on the dynamics of the (cabinet reshuffle) process," Presidential Special Staff for Political Communications Daniel Sparinga said here on Friday afternoon.
He said that the president always involved his special staff members when there were important events. The head of state always provided directive for them.
"Sometimes the special staffs receive directives from the president or the staff members report to the president regarding the relevant matters," Daniel said.
Daniel said that the president and vice president would continue to discuss the cabinet shake-up plan until the end of the week.
Both of them will discuss the names of ministers or other names who had the potentials to be named ministers.
"The main attention of President Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono is still being focused on this matter until the weekend," he said.
Daniel Sparinga has previously said that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono began discussing a cabinet shake-up on Thursaday.
"What I know is that the president and vice president have just held a tete-a-tete," Daniel said when he was contacted at the president`s Cikeas residence on Thursday.
Daniel said the discussion on the cabinet shake-up was still restricted to the president and vice president so that it was sterile from politics.
He said that the meeting between president and political party leaders would take place only after the president and vice president completed their meeting.
Daniel said that the president was not willing to cover up the process of the cabinet reshuffle and but to protect it from unnecessary noises.
"The president will in time tell the people about the cabinet reshuffle directly," he said.
