Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia is ready to meet Qatar in the third Group E elimination round of Pre-World Cup football championship here on Tuesday, coach Wim Rijsbergen said here on Monday.

Indonesia has to win the second home match to open an opportunity to go to the next round.

Wim said his team would play maximally to win the match with support from supporters.

"It is very important to win the match. We have a chance to win it. We need motivation from supporters," he said.

Indonesia has been ranked the lowest in Group E without points from two matches against Iran (0-3) and Bahrain (0-2). Qatar meanwhile has two points from two draws in two matches while Bahrain and Iran have four points.

"We have a number of young players in the team," Wim said when asked about players who were wounded such as Hamka Hamzah and Yongki Ariwibowo.

Wim said he was optimistic his players could play better against Qatar moreover after it had successfully played to a draw against Saudi Arabia in a friendly match recently.

Hamka Hamzah meanwhile said he was ready to play if he would be fielded against Qatar.

"I have received a therapy. It is only a light injury. I think the team will have no problem against Qatar," he said.

Qatar`s coach Sebastiao Larazoni meanwhile said the match would be tight because both teams had to collect three points.

"A draw will not be good for both Indonesia and Qatar. This is an opportunity for Qatar to make the best," he said.

He said this would be the last opportunity for Indonesia if it wants to still play at the World Cup.

"The match will be tight and difficult. I am convinced Indonesia would do its best because this is its last chance," he said.

One of Qatari players, Mesat Ali Al Hamed, said Indonesia is one of Qatar`s strongest teams. He pledged he would play his best on Tuesday.

He said he is not afraid of Indonesian supporters. "We will play against the Indonesian players not them," he said. (Uu.H-YH/HAJM)
