Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak witnessed the signing of two protocols on amendments to two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Indonesia and Malaysia.

The two protocols were on amendments to an MoU on tax avoidance and an MoU on commodities and bilateral cooperation.

Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and his Malaysian counterpart signed the amendment protocols.

The two heads of government held an annual bilateral consultation in the Mandalika resort area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), after a lunch on Thursday.

The topics of the annual consultation included the progress in the drafting of a provisional agreement on the territorial sea borders in the Sulawesi Sea, the welfare of Indonesia workers in Malaysia and the establishment of a people`s study center.

In their luncheon remarks, both heads of government stated their readiness to cooperate in settling common problems with common spirit to maintain good relations. (*)
