Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Friday convened a meeting to discuss preparations for summits he will attend and the 26th SEA Games to be held in Jakarta and Palembang in November.

President Yudhoyono is scheduled to take part in G-20 Summit in Cannes, France, early November and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Honolulu in mid November. Meanwhile, the SEA Games will be held in Jakarta and Palembang, South Sumatra, in the second week of November.

Also present at the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Political, Law and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, National Defence Forces (TNI) Chief Admiral Agus Suhartono, National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo, Defence Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro and a number of other top officials.

Earlier, the President`s special aide for international relations, Teuku Faizasyah, said at the G-20 Summit in Cannes, France, President Yudhoyono would convey his views on development, energy and corruption eradication.

Earlier, on Thursday (Oct 27), the President also led a plenary cabinet meeting to discuss a wide range of issues including preparations for the G-20 Summit, APEC Summit and ASEAN Summit and the discussion was continued at a meeting on Friday. (*)
