Some 200 participants from 24 countries would take part in the seminar, Mahmudin Ibrohim, the head of the Central Bangka plantation and forestry office said here recently.
Foreign countries to participate in the seminar will include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Japan, Singapore, India, Bhutan, Oman, members of the CITES Secretariat (Spain, Australia, Switzerland), the ASEAN Secretariat, South Korea, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and Nepal.
The seminar`s organizers are the forestry ministry and the CITES Secretariat.
