"There are three chances Indonesia must take advantage of to become a large country, namely maximum use of natural resources, experience and human resources," he said at an annual international conference 2011 at AAC Dayan Dawood building at Darussalam campus here on Tuesday.
According to him, the maximum use of the three sources that were not owned by other countries would enable Indonesia to become more advanced when the country commemorated its 100th anniversary of independence day.
"We have everything. What still has to do is encouraging all the potentials by means of education," he said.
All components must make use of demographic momentum, namely productive age population who would be able to develop and lead the nation for the better in 50 years` time, he said.
"Indonesia has adequate productive age human resources that will be able to encourage various sectors in the country," he said.
Therefore, he added that the central government had made every effort to take advantage of all the potentials to make Indonesia a large country as part of efforts to promote the people`s living standard.
"All regions including Aceh have quite large potentials to develop this nation. What is left to do is improving intellectual capacity with clear heart," he said.
He expressed hope that all generations in the country`s 33 provinces could contribute to national development to make Indonesia an advanced and prosperous nation. (*)
