It is the first time in the history of the university and a milestone in returning the role of universities as engine of Indonesia bureaucratic reform which is currently highly loaded with corruption, according to the University's statement.
The crowning event held after the declaration by hundreds of figures and declaration testimonials by five national figures including Constitutional Court's Mahfud MD and Teten Masduki of Transparency International.
Aryani, a PhD candidate and a member of parliament, has a mission to campaign for the clean and serve bureaucracy movement and restore the Indonesia's higher education missions.
"Obviously, this is a mandate as well as a challenge for me in realizing our goals throughout academia and the public about the existence of excellence public service," said Aryani.
The coronation performed by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Bambang Shergi Laksmono and clean bureaucracy advocate Eko Prasojo here on Thursday (8/12). (*)
