Corruption is rampant in the country and so the task of the new KPK commissioners would be heavy.

Abraham Samad has pledged he would resign if he failed to deal with major cases in a year.

After successfully catching former ruling party treasurer Muhammad Nazaruddin in Colombia as a corruption suspect KPK has recently been able to return home Nunun Nurbaeti, another high profile corruption suspect, linked to politicians.

It however has not yet been able to unveil the alleged corruption case in the Century Bank bailout.(*)
