Samarinda, E. Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - The number of victims of the collapsed Kartanegara bridge in Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan province had now reached 23.

Another dead victim had been found on Monday at 10.50 local time, said one of the Ante Mortem command post at Parikesit hospital, Tenggarong, Nurhayati on Monday, but had yet to be identified.

"The dead victim is barely recognizable, all only bones, and may be very hard to identified. Right now the dead victim is kept at Parikesit hospital, for identification by the East Kalimantan police," Nurhayati said.

The bridge collapsed on Saturday (Nov 26) killing 23 people, while 14 others were still gone missing.

Up till now, the search for the rest of the victims is still conducted by a SAR team, with the assistance of traditional divers of the East Kalimantan hinterland.(*)
