Bandarlampung (ANTARA News) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported a 5.7-magnitude quake with its epicenter located 128 kilometers northwest of Sangihe Islands, North Sulawesi on Saturday at 5.50 am local time.

BMKG disclosed that the quake is located 4.67 degrees North Latitude and 125.18 degrees Eastern Longitude in a depth of 10 kilometers.

The quake however has no potential to trigger a tsunami, and its epicenter lies also 185 kilometers northwest of Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi, 212 kilometers northwest of Manado, North Sulaesi, and 2,370 kilometers of Jakarta.
