Edmound, the special staff to deputy of evaluation and mining of downstream oil industry regulatory body gained 16 votes out of the total 22 votes in the election.
The election was participated in by five candidates namely Phanny Tanjung (general chairman for 2008-2012 period), Sofyan Ruzian (Deputy general chairman for 2008-2012 period), Rudy Gumulya, Ary Gunary and Edmound JT Simorangkir.
The new PB ISSI chairman when explaining his vision and mission prior to the election said, he wished to improve the Indonesian achievement. (*)
