The head of state held the meeting, attended by all cabinet ministers and state officials at the ministerial level, to discuss the government`s working plan for 2013 and the development of the revised 2012 state budget.
Accompanied by Vice President Boediono, the president opened the cabinet meeting at 2:15 pm on Wednesday.
While the meeting was underway, a protest rally against the government`s plan to raise the price of subsidized fuel oil was staged in front of Merdeka Palace.
