Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Operational Staff for Training (G-5) of AOR (Area Of Responsibility) of the Eastern Sector of UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon) visited POM Task Force of East Military Police Unit (Sempu) UN Posn 7-3 Marjayoun Sector in Lebanon on Wednesday (March 28).

The visit of G-5 Unifil Task Force was led by Lt Col Lazaravic (Serbia) and Garuda Contingent (Konga) XXV-D/Unifil commander Navy Major (PM) Wahyu Dwi Sulistyo.

Wahyu Dwi Sulistyo by an electronic message received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Thursday said that the visit was aimed at coordinating the planned security and evacuation training of military and civilian personnel in case of a contingency planning and inspect security/evacuation facilities and infrastructures at UN Posts 7-3 and followed by inspecting the shelters/bunkers at the POM Task Force Headquarters.

The training planned on May 5, 2012 will involve 200 personnel at the UN Posn 7-2 (Seceast Headquarters, Spanbatt, Chinmed) and UN Posn 7-3 (Sempu, Cambodian Engenering, Company B Indobatt).

He said the training will be very beneficial for all the personnel in facing the worse situation in the areas of operation.

"This training will also build the preparedness of UN Posn 7-3, namely the POM Task Force and Company B Indobatt in receiving military/civilian personnel for protection or evacuation in case of an emergency situation," Wahyu said.
