"The Indosat bonds are expected to be issued in July."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State telecommunication operator PT Indosat Tbk is planning to issue 10-year fixed rate conventional bonds and sharia bonds (sukuk) worth Rp2.5 trillion this year.

Proceeds from the issuance of the bonds will be used to increase investment and repay debts, the company said in its press statement on Tuesday.

Local rating agency PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) has assigned its idAA+ (double A plus) rating for the Indosat bonds. The outlook of the bonds is stable, the statement said.

Acting as bond issue underwriters will be PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT HSBC Securities Indonesia, PT Mandiri Sekuritas and PT Standard Chartered Securities Indonesia, with state-owned PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) as a trustee agent, it said.

Indosat has appointed Assegaf Hamzah and Partners as a legal adviser for the issuance of the rupiah-denominated bonds, with Ny. Titik Poerbaningsih Adi Warsito, SH. as a notarial public, and Ernst & Young (Purwantono, Suherman & Surja) as an independent auditor, it said.

Hari Mantoro, president director of HSBC Securities which is one of the bond issue underwriters, predicted the bonds will be issued in July 2012.

"The Indosat bonds are expected to be issued in July," he said.
