Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - The body of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Widjajono Partowidagdo has been evacuated from the Mount Tambora hiking area, about 2,500 meters above sea level.

Earlier, Susyanto, a spokesman from the ministry, said Widjajono died after becoming exhausted while climbing Mount Tambora, Dompu district, West Nusa Tenggara, on Saturday afternoon.

The body of the deputy minister has since been transferred to Denpasar, Bali, by helicopter. (*)
