"I come here to accompany my wife to meet the KPK."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday questioned Athiyyah Laila, wife of the ruling Democrat Party chairman, over alleged corruption in the construction of West Java`s Hambalang Sports Center.
Athiyyah who was accompanied by her husband Anas Urbanighrum (general chairman of the ruling Democrat Party/PD) came to meet the KPK investigators to be questioned in her capacity as former commissioner of PT Dutasari Citralaras.
PT Dutasari Citralaras was one of the companies which served as subcontractors in the Hambalang sport center project worth Rp1.52 trillion.
"I come here to accompany my wife to meet the KPK (investigators). I always accompany her even if she only visited the doctor or when she went to the market," Anas said.
