London (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Consul General in Dubai Mansyur Pangeran saw off 17 Indonesian female migrant workers (TKW) who`s cases have been processed by the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai.

Consul General Mansyur called on the workers to learn a lesson from their bitter experience abroad and therefore think twice if they wished to return to their former jobs abroad, First Secretary of the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai for Information, Social and Cultural Affairs Adiguna Wijaya told ANTARA News on Wednesday.

While many of them who have worked abroad had no problem, there still no guarantee that they will be facing no problem from their new employees abroad, and therefore better stay and work at home.

Those who were going home were also given the rare but very beneficial opportunity to follow special courses with cooperation of the RI Consulate General in Dubai and Dharma Wanita (association of wives of Indonesian officials) in Dubai in English, computers, sewing and other domestic skills.

Mansyur hoped these new skills would come in handy in heir new jobs at home.

The TKWs who are going home had been working in Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia for two to 15 years.

Fifteen of them had been staying with the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai for two to five weeks, most of them had been working in UAE, Egypt and Yemen.

From January 2012 the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai has repatriated 99 TKWs from Dubai and five from other Emirates.

Those who had been repatriated included Taridah binti Wastika Nasijan, Rohimah binti Irsan Nasan, Agustina Andarawati binti Oyok, Patonah binti Sanudin Carwita, Kholifa Turrosidah binti Mastura, Nining Ratnaningsih binti Wirya, Tini Suhartini binti Satri Jamhar,

Lilis binti Usup Suryana, Darsinah binti Dai Harun, Sintadewi binti Toya Dasuki, Enung binti Ade Saemi, Imi binti Dupri Samina, Yani binti Madi Rastani, Rustini binti Kirga, Saerah binti Sakwad Nata, Siti Khoiriyah binti Suroto Jono, and Endangwati binti Rusli Samiun.
