Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The government estimates construction of the 615 kilometer Trans Java toll road project will cost around Rp51.41 trillion (US$5.7 billion)

Lucky Eko Wuryanto, a deputy at the office of the chief economic minister, said construction of Trans-Java toll road will be completed in 2014.

The total cost of the project already under construction over the past few years, includes land cost of Rp5.09 trillion, Lucky said here on Tuesday.

The toll road project extending between the western and eastern parts of Java is divided into nine sections including Cikampek-Palimanan, Pejagan-Pemalang, Pemalang-Batang, Batang-Semarang, Semarang-Solo, Solo-Ngawi, Ngawi-Kertosono, Kertosono-Mojokerto, and Mojokerto-Surabaya.

The Cikampek-Palimanan section is the longest 116 kilometers with cost estimated at Rp12.6 trillion. It is being built and to be operated by PT Lintas Marga Sedaya with a 35-year concession.

The Pejagan-Pemalang section 58 kilometer long is being built and to be operated by PT Pejagan-Pemalang under a concession of 45 years with an investment estimated at Rp5.52 trillion .

The Pemalang-Batang section is 39 kilometer long being built and to be operated by PT Pemalang Batang Toll Road under a concession of 45 years with an investment estimated at Rp4.08 trillion .

The Batang-Semarang section is 75 kilometer long being built and to be operated by PT Marga Setia Puritama under a concession of 45 years with an investment estimated at Rp7.21 trillion .

The Semarang-Solo section 73 kilometer long is being built and to be operated by PT Trans Marga Jateng under a concession of 45 years with an investment estimated at Rp6.21 trillion .

The Solo-Ngawi section 90 kilometers long is being built and to be operated by PT Solo Ngawi Jawa under a concession of 35 years with and investment estimated at Rp5.14 trillion.

The Ngawi-Kertosono section 87 kilometers long is being built and to be operated by PT Ngawi Kertosono under a concession of 35 years with investment estimated at Rp3.38 trillion .

The Kertosono-Mojokerto section 41 kilometers long is being built and to be operated by PT Marga Harjaya Infrastruktur under a 35-year concession with an investment estimated at Rp3.48 trillion .

The Mojokerto-Surabaya section, 36 kilometers long is being built and to be operated by PT Marga Nujyasumo Agung under a concession of 42 years with an investment estimated at Rp3.4 trillion .(ASG/A014)
