Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The police anti-terrorist squad, Densus 88, arrested a suspected terrorist in Melawi district, West Kalimantan, on Saturday, a police spokesman said on Sunday.

The suspected terrorist, identified as Anggri Pamungkas, was arrested on the border between Cobra and Bloyang villages in West Kalimantan as he was riding on a motorcycle along with Kusmardi, spokesman of the Indonesian Police Headquarters Brig Gen Boy Rafli Amar said.

Anggri was arrested on his way home from the oil palm plantation owned by Kusmardi. He made no resistance when he was arrested at 04.56 p.m. on Saturday, the police spokesman said.

Boy said Anggri who was born on January 6, 1994 is a resident of Laweyan subdistrict in Solo, Central Java. He is believed to have link with the Toriq network.

Toriq escaped the blast at Beji on Jakarta`s southern outskirts of Depok on Sept 8. He fled to Tambora, West Jakarta but turned himself in on Sept 9 after police detained his wife. (S012)
