"It`s really unacceptable and all things that insult our Prophet should be destroyed."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Afghanistan ambassador to Indonesia has called the film "Innocence of Muslims" an enemy of humanity as he feels it insults not only Islam but also other communities in the world.

"The film is the enemy not only for Muslims, but entire humanity," ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ghulam Sakhi Ghairat said in an Afghanistan Peace and National Seminar here on Wednesday evening.

He added that the Afghanistan government condemned the film, including the people who were involved in its making.

"We strongly condemn it. Any persons who were involved in the making of the film or with the cartoon of Prophet Muhammad committed crimes, not only against Muslims, but also against humanity, as I said before," he said.

He stated that his government also condemned the people who saw the movie or supported any form of expression that insults Prophet Muhammad.

"It`s really unacceptable and all things that insult our Prophet should be destroyed," he said.

Ghairat urged Muslims to learn the Koran as the best expression of voicing their protests.

"Muslims have to follow the lessons taught in the Koran as the most effective measure against such issues. This is the Muslim way to protest rather than indulging in radical protests," he urged.

Ghairat further urged Muslims to deeply understand the meaning of "Bismillahirrohmanirrohim" which means "in the name of God (Allah) the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful".

"The words are simple. It`s short but deep and full of respect," he said.

"Innocence of Muslims" is a 14 minute-long movie initially made and uploaded on YouTube by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in July 2012 that portrays Prophet Muhammad as a religious fraud, womanizer and paedophile.

Soon after the movie a cartoon insulting Prophet Muhammad surfaced in public. The cartoon was published by French satirical weekly, Charlie Hebdo and led to many protests across Islamic countries all over the world.
