"Judge PW has actively used meth for the past six months."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A judge has been arrested for being involved in a drugs party with friends and female entertainers.
"Judge PW was arrested along with his two friends, identified as SP and MF, and four party girls at Room 331, on the fourth floor of Illigals Hotel and Club in Central Jakarta at around 5 pm on Tuesday," National Narcotics Agency (BNN) spokesman, Senior Commissioner Sumirat Dwiyanto, said here on Wednesday.
After being tipped off about the incident, BNN conducted an investigation. Later, it raided Room 331 and arrested PW and his friends, including four so-called party girls, identified as KN, FA, NA and DMR," he explained.
Judge PW is employed at the Bekasi District Court, after working in Jayapura, Papua.
"Judge PW has actively used meth for the past six months. However, he had been consuming ecstasy pills since 2010, when he was in Jayapura," Sumirat said.
PW admitted that he had purchased the pills from Tangerang. After being arrested, all the suspects were taken to the BNN headquarters for urine tests.
"As of now, BNN officers are still investigating and developing the case, suspecting that other judges could also be involved in similar cases," Sumirat stated.
