Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Bank Indonesia has decided to maintain its benchmark interest rate at 5.75 percent which it considered still consistent with the inflation target of 3.5-5.5 percent.

Bank Indonesia Governor Darmin Nasution said on Thursday the inflation rate is predicted to remain low as it was in 2012 when it clocked in at 4.30 percent.
