Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The government will soon submit Central Government Financial Statement (LKPP) of 2012 to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for audit on March 28, Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo said on Monday.

BPK member Taufiqurrahman Ruki visited the Ministry of Finance on Monday morning to give suggestions to ministries and government institutions on how to make a better LKPP, he said.

The agency gave qualified opinion to LKPP in 2011.

The suggestions are closely related to BPK`s repeated findings such as assets, inventories, non-tax state revenues and grants which are recorded and used in breach of the rules.

"It`s very important to maintain and follow up on audit findings in 2011 so that we will have a better LKPP in 2012," he said.

He said there are 10 ministries and government institutions that still have to improve their financial reports before being submitted to BKP on March 28.

The government will respond to the BPK`s audit of the LKPP on May 15 and BPK will submit audited LKPP to the President, the Parliament and the Regional Representatives Council on May 30, he said.
