"I will be questioned as a witness for suspects DK and AAM. As a member of the House Commission X, I am considered to have a knowledge of the discussion on the budget for the Hambalang project," Zulfadi of the Golkar Party faction said at the KPK building here.
The anti-graft body will also question former member of the House Commission X Eko Hendro Purnomo alias Eko Patrio as a witness in the graft case.
"About a multi-years scheme, I believe it was not discussed at the House Commission X. I 100 percent believe we can prove it from the summary of the meeting. As a matter of fact, the KPK has already got the summary. From the summary, the KPK must know about whether or not there has been something awkward in the discussion," Zulfadi said.
Zulfadi who arrived at the KPK building at 08.45 a.m. expressed hope the KPK would study in details the disbursement of the budget funds by the finance minister under a multi-years scheme.
"Without any discussion of the multi-years scheme at the parliament, how could the finance minister approve the multi-years contract? This is what the KPK must study in details. Don`t focus on irregularities at the youth and sports ministry only but also on why the finance ministry has approved it without the proper procedure," Zulfadi said.
Meanwhile, Eko said he also brought with him documents related to the discussion of budget for the Hambalang project.
"I will be questioned in connection with the Hambalang case," said Eko who is now a member of the House Commission II.
Eko arrived at the KPK building at 10.20 a.m., accompanied by deputy chief of the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction Viva Yoga Muladi.(*)
