"I met with the House leaders some time ago."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono presided over a limited cabinet meeting for the 2013 education budget and asked all parties to properly use the budget.

"Good coordination in the internal government and between the government with the House of Representatives (DPR) is needed," the president said when opening the meeting here on Thursday.

The coordination should be conducted immediately, because next week is already in March, and the government program relating to education must be implemented soon, the head of state said.

"I met with the House leaders some time ago. And I urged them to work more in the rest of devotion (tenure). The good and bad ones can be differentiated including in managing and implementing the state budget," the president disclosed.

Meanwhile, Education and Cultural affairs Minister Muhammad Nuh said that discussion on the education budget is important because it is the biggest one in the state budget (APBN) and it increases every year.

The meeting that began at 2.00 p.m. was attended by Vice President Boediono, Coordinating Minister for Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.
