According to local Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) the quake is centered at 9.70 southern longitude and 120.35 eastern latitude at the depth of 50 kilometers.
Last Monday (March 25) a 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit West Sumbawa district, West Nusa Tenggara province.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 06.54 p.m. western Indonesian time was located 293 km southeast of West Sumbawa at a depth of 10 km, the agency said in its official website.
