Dr Christofer from the development center of science and technology and national sports health (PP-ITKON) said here on Monday.
According to him, Chris John, holder of the WBA Super Champion featherweight title and Daud Yordan, holder of IBO featherweight champion title underwent health checks here on Monday.
Chris John successfully retained his featherweight boxing title for 17th time in November 2012.
The health checks for the two world champions cover general checkup, condition of teeth, electrocardiogram (EKG), blood tests for HIV and Hepatitis B, examination of VO2max and Ergocycle.
"Chris John came for the health check at 9.30 am and Daud arrived at 10.00 am local time," Dr Christofer said.
On Sunday evening match, Chris John will face Japanese boxer,
Satoshi Hosono, meanwhile Daud Yordan will fight against Africa`s Simpewe `V12` Vetyeka.
The Sunday bout will be the 18th fight for Chris "the Dragon" John to defense his title. So far, John registered 48 wins including 22 knockouts and two draws.
To date, Chris John has retained the WBA Super Champion featherweight title for nine years or the longest one in the world.
John, who was born in Jakarta on September 14, 1979 grabbed the first title of the World Boxing Association championship when defeating the Colombian boxer, Oscar Leon through the ad-interim match in Bali, September 26, 2003. (*)
