Cirebon, West Java (ANTARA News) - The Army dormitory in West Java`s Cirebon city caught fire on Tuesday, leaving about 150 people displaced.

It was believed the fire which broke out at 04.00 p.m. local time was caused by an exploding 3-kg gas cylinder, eyewitness Ahmad said.

The blaze was difficult to extinguish as the building was made of inflammable materials, he said.

Cirebon Mayor Ano Sutrisno said on the scene the local authorities had provided tents and basic necessities for hundreds of the fire victims.
